Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need a formal diagnosis to join?

No. If you’re experiencing symptoms like joint pain, stiffness, or reduced function, we can assess and guide you into the program.

Are GLA:D® sessions covered by insurance?

Yes! Most extended health insurance plans cover physiotherapy services. Contact us if you need help checking your coverage.

Can I still join if I’ve had joint surgery?

Absolutely. GLA:D® is often helpful post-surgery to restore strength and mobility.

How long does it typically take to recover from foot or ankle injuries with physiotherapy?

The recovery time can vary depending on the severity of the injury and the individual’s response to treatment. Some patients may see improvement in a few weeks, while more severe injuries might require several months of therapy. Consistency in attending therapy sessions and performing prescribed exercises at home is key to a successful recovery.
